18 Months Old

My sweet baby, Naomi, turned 18 months old today. It is hard to believe she isn't much of a baby anymore. In the past few months she has learned countless new words, acquired a love of Elmo, and changed in many more ways. It is almost hard to remember our family before Naomi, and I know James doesn't remember his life as an only child.

Things I love about Naomi:

- How excited she gets when she gets to watch Elmo

- Her giggle

- She is so forgiving of James; when he is sent to time out for hurting her, she follows and wants to sit next to him

- When I am putting her to bed and pat her back, she pats mine back.

- She easily goes from crashing cars with her brother to carrying around baby dolls. She loves her baby doll.

- How she entertains herself at home or outside

- Her love of fruit, cheese, and hotdogs

- How she says popsicle..."popcoco"

- Her new love of books, especially Curious George and animal books

I looked through pictures today and can't believe how much she has grown.

A few days old.

Naomi at six months.

One year old.

And now, 18 months old.

I love my baby girl!

  1. Ok, first off--I started tearing up when I read about Naomi forgiving James and patting your back. That is so precious. Also, what a great idea...putting the pictures back to back. If it's even possible, she's gotten cuter and so ladylike! Sigh. I miss you all. I can't wait to come out and see the Harris's again!
