Stripes and Smores

When these two get along, it makes my heart melt.     We took them to campus one evening to roast marshmallows and make Smores.   James was more than happy to collect the sticks for us.  The coals weren’t the best way to have a fire, but they got the job done. 

James loves chocolate, so he thoroughly enjoyed his treat.

Mimi wasn’t a fan of the Smores, but she did enjoy a couple marshmallows.  Apparently she knows how to pose.   When I look at this picture, I can almost imagine what they will look like as teenagers.
