We planned our fair evening around the demolition derby. Wesley couldn’t wait to relive his childhood, and I knew James would love to watch cars crash into each other.
We started the night with some games.
James was a little disappointed to win a small stuffed animal, but Mimi loved her phone.
It was a great night for the demo derby. The boys loved it. Naomi plugged her ears for most of it. It was a first time experience for me too, and I enjoyed watching the people as much as the cars.
James watching “his” car win. Love the cotton candy stuck to his face.
We shelled out more cash for tickets so the kids could enjoy a few rides. I think this was their favorite part of the night. I got asked twice if they were twins, and in this picture I can see why.
Next time we’ll have to go earlier in the day so we can see the animals and other exhibits. It was a fun night, but because of the price and exhaustion caused, I’m glad it’s only once a year.
