Fall Family Fun

We took a trip to the pumpkin farm/corn maze earlier this month. There was a cow train, play area, kiddie maze, and other fun things for kids.

Naomi wasn’t big enough to ride on her own. James wanted to go by himself. I sat on a plank of wood and bumped around. Naomi looks unsure; my smile is fake; James loved it.

We were too slow for James in the kiddie maze.

We enjoyed a peaceful hayride by ourselves.

James launched water balloons and a corn rocket.

The maze place didn’t have a great selection of pumpkins, so we went to another patch to pick out ours.

James and I underwent serious negotiations until a pumpkin met his standards and my requirements.

Naomi liked the “baby pumpkins” the best.

The next weekend we carved the pumpkins. Naomi wasn’t impressed with the insides of her pumpkin.

James was more involved than his sister.

Eventually Naomi helped out a little.
