We took costume pictures the day before Halloween this year. It worked out great because the kids were way too excited on Halloween night to stand still before trick-or-treating. My mom did an amazing job again this year on their costumes. It was the first year that both kids chose their costumes. I think their choices reflect their personalities and interests right now.
They had fun trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Not many houses had their lights on, but the houses that did gave out lots of candy. I missed Halloween at Baity Hill and all the families we lived with, but the kids still had a great time. We finished our night at Callie and David’s house, which we have done every year we’ve lived in this city.
James and Naomi were very serious about sorting and choosing their candy the next day. Wesley and I enjoyed sneaking our favorites after bedtime!
