Naomi's Party

Naomi turned two on New Year's Day and we celebrated with a birthday brunch. The party was small since we were in Chicago, but it was nice to celebrate with family and friends. I think this is the last year we can get away with not inviting friends to the party. She did request an Elmo party, so we found some cute plates and my mom decorated with streamers.

She was too shy to blow out her candles after everyone sang, so she tried again later that night.


It was the perfect party for our sweet girl.

Two Years Old

Our sweet baby girl isn't much of a baby anymore. Things we want to remember about our two year old.

- Naomi loves her babies, but doesn't quite understand naming them. Right now she calls them "Big Baby", "Little Baby", and "Other Little Baby".
- She is so sweet to her big brother. She forgives him quickly and only sometimes fights back
- She loves to be independent and walk outside and in stores, but quickly resorts to whining "Picka me up".
- Her favorite toy is the toy kitchen the she and James got for Christmas. She insists it is just hers and gets mad whenever James tries to play with it
- She is a little comedian. She is constantly making us laugh and laughs so hard she gets the hiccups at least once a day.
- Her favorite foods are fruit, cheese, and juice
