Week 17

4.22.12- The kids and I on Sunday afternoon.

4.23.12- James and Wesley. :)

4.24.12- A vulture out of my office window. It swooped by every so often and distracted me from my work. I finally was able to capture a picture on my phone.

4.25.12- The kids posing after a trip to the creek to look for rocks for a school project.

4.26.12- Rose bush in our yard.

4.27.12- Spring Fling at James’ school. James was so proud when he hit the target of the dunk tank and dunked the school counselor.

4.28.12- Naomi keeping busy with a “fort” while visiting Grandma Van in the hospital.

Week 16

4.15.12- The kids spent the afternoon playing in the sprinkler and filling up buckets with water.  Then, they worked together to make some “soup”.

4.16.12- Naomi ready for picture day at school.

4.17.12- Slowly adding pictures to my office bookcase.

4.18.12- The kids cards for my mom’s birthday. James is very into drawing sharks, and he added flowers for Grandma. Naomi drew a picture of our family.

4.19.12- All Naomi wanted for dinner was fruit.

4.20.12- James after a kickball game that ended with a fall into the fence.

4.21.12- A trip to the Charlotte Nature Museum.  We saw animals native to NC, explored the butterfly garden, learned about insects, and hiked on the nature path.

Week 15

4.08.12- Our family before church on Easter Sunday.

 

4.09.12- James reading a new book to me.

4.10.12- James took over the coffee table with his army men and balloon sword.

4.11.12- Condoleeza Rice speaking on higher education in Wait Chapel.

4.12.12- James enjoying the talent show put on by Wesley’s classmates.

4.13.12- Teacher Naomi preparing to read a book to me. She cracks us up with her imitations of her teachers.

4.14.12- Naomi and Aunt Niy playing phone games.

Week 14

4.01.12- Sweet girl on a Sunday afternoon.

4.02.12- Ice cream after dinner on the back deck.

4.03.12- Handsome boy in the backyard. He looks so old to me in this picture.

4.04.12- The boys after dinner. They were probably playing their favorite game, Dragonvale.

4.05.12- Naomi with her Easter crafts and treats from school.

4.06.12- James reading a library book to Naomi.

4.07.12- We made Resurrection Rolls to prepare for Easter.

Week 13

3.25.12- James taking a break from riding his scooter on campus.

3.26.12 – A very happy boy with his Yoda Happy Meal toy.

3.27.12- Kickball in the driveway.

3.28.12- Naomi mixing up pumpkin muffins.

 

3.29.12- Pretty flowers in our backyard.

3.30.12- James and Naomi racing cars down pool noodle ramps.

  3.31.12- A beautiful day for a trip to the zoo.
