Early this Spring we went to the strawberry patch.
Naomi did really well finding ripe berries…until she realized she could eat them.
James was very serious about finding the biggest best strawberries.
After we got through the first row, we grabbed a third basket. The kids marched up and down the rows.
We picked way more than we expected…over 25 pounds! We made strawberry freezer jam, strawberry shortcake, gave lots away, and enjoyed eating delicious fresh strawberries.
And here’s a picture of the kids at the berry patch last year. It always amazes me how much they change in a year.
