Merry Christmas from the Harris Family!

Easter

We had a very nice Easter with Wesley’s family.  The weather was great, so the kids spent a lot of time outside. James rode on a 4-wheeler for the first time.  He also crashed for the first time.

They both love the trampoline and playing with Aunt Niy.

The kids were so excited about their Easter baskets. 

The bubble gum provided a great incentive for family picture taking.

 

After church and naps, we had an Easter egg hunt. 

Naomi was still a little tired, so after she collected some eggs, she decided she was done and let Wesley and Oniya find the rest of her eggs. 

James was most excited about his new Hot Wheels. 

       And Mimi was very happy about her princess rings.

We spent the rest of Sunday afternoon relaxing outside and playing on the trampoline.  It was a wonderful Easter.

Naomi’s Favorite Things

Princesses

She loves to wear her Princess dress, play with princesses, wear her princess shirt.  She wants to be a princess/flower girl/ladybug/fairy when she grows up.  Her babies are still closer to her heart, but the princess thing is new for Naomi.

Tea Parties

She loves to set up her dishes and cook pretend food for us. One afternoon we made cookies and had real tea using her tea set.  She was so excited to pour her own tea.

Purses

Mimi likes to bring a purse or bag with her wherever we go. She loves to put little toys in her purse and carry them around the house.

James’ Interests

Legos He loves Legos. He loves following directions to build things, but also creating on his own or with his daddy.

Soccer

It has been a nice spring for soccer.  He is a great defender. He’s not afraid of anyone on the field and is so proud each time he scores a goal. I think Snacks after the game and being silly with his teammates are still the best parts of the sport for James.

Paper Airplanes

The obsession started at school.  He comes home every day with 1-5 airplanes.  He begs Wesley and I to make different models. He spends tons of time designing and coloring them.
